Bigger, Faster, Better...

Wild Beer’s production is split between our wild sour beers and our clean fermented beers. With our Pale Ales and IPAs we are always looking to improve our quality and consistency. This generally means heavily investing in new kit as well as the people to manage it. Which is exactly what we’ve done!

The next step in improving our quality was to upgrade our canning line. In enters our recently purchased CFT canning line with a potential 24 head filler and 6000 litres per hour output.

It dominates the packaging room, is super responsive and reliable and is literally too fast for our team to keep up with so we have to run it on half speed. It’s a bit of a beast.. 

This means that our canned beers oxygen intake will be lower, preserving that precious hop aroma for longer and we will have less chance of cross contamination and less wastage - all good things!

With such an increase in capacity for cans it feels only right to increase the number of cans we do, right? Stay tuned for new beers being released in cans imminently!
